Navy Safe Harbor Non-medical Care Manager Judith Carlisle, who works at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., recently received a surprise honor from the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command for providing the gold-standard of care to wounded Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians and their families. Her certificate of appreciation reads: “She went above and beyond the scope of her daily routine to familiarize [herself with] and befriend wounded EOD warriors not directly under her supervision… she provided superior commitment to ‘Getting it Right.’”
